Confessional Documents
 This We Believe - This document is a statement of the beliefs and faith of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
Apostles' Creed - The Apostles' Creed was formulated according to the gospel truths taught by the
apostles. Christians use it to profess their faith with one another as they worship.
Nicene Creed - The Nicene Creed was developed at the Council of Nicaea and defends the true Christian faith. It expands on the deity of Christ in order to safeguard the apostles' teachings.
Athanasian Creed - The Athanasian Creed declares that whoever rejects the doctrine of the Trinity of
Christ is without the saving faith and continues to serve as a standard of faith today.

The Book of Concord - The Book of Concord is an archive of famous documents of the Reformation by Martin Luther. Other documents, such as the Augsburg Confession and Luther's Small and Large Catechisms, are also in the book.
