St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church - Eau Claire, WI |
In all instruction, St. Mark will teach what the Bible says. Since the Bible says it is entirely God's Word, we must say the things God speaks. Because God's main message is how we are saved and forgiven through Jesus, that good news is the heart of our teaching. Through faith in Him we will go to heaven.

We belong to a Lutheran church called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Our synod began in 1850 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has since expanded into all 50 states. Our synod supports missions for sharing God's word overseas, as well as a school system for training full-time church workers.

Synod to Vote on NIV Translation this Summer
Have you heard the publishers of the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible have updated the translation? A Translation Evaluation Committee has been established to study and examine this new translation, along with other English language translations. The committee has compiled essays, information, and studies on the topic.
