About Rachel
Rachel is our School-Based Wellness Specialist contracted through Christian Family Solutions to provide additional support for the social, mental, and emotional needs of students. She provides in-class lessons on mental health topics (often called social emotional learning) for all students. Rachel is available to meet with students individually or in groups as requested by teachers, students, or parents.Rachel graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Social Work. In 2023, she earned a Community Health Ministry certificate through the Meros Center. Rachel is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bethany Lutheran College, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026. Her goal is to serve others as a Licensed Professional Counselor.Rachel and her husband, Brian, have been members at St Mark for over 15 years. They have 3 children, all of whom attended St Mark from Kindergarten through 8th grade. While their kids were in school, Rachel and Brian were active members of the St Mark school family; Brian served on the Board of Education and as a basketball coach. Rachel was active in PTP, serving as secretary for a time.
